Job summary

Converge UK is seeking an hands-on Operations Operative / Collections Driver to join our IT Recycling Operations team in Bathgate. The role covers collections, delivery, warehouse tasks and refurbishment in a fast-paced, sustainability-driven environment.

You will play a key part in the full lifecycle of IT recycling, ensuring safe operations, accurate documentation and strong customer service as you help Converge UK deliver responsible, innovative technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with driving and multi-drop collections.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and safety procedures.
• Ability to log asset information and support refurbishment work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional multi-drop IT recycling collections.
• Load/unload vehicles and document paperwork accurately.
• Check, record, weigh and count incoming assets and materials; use systems to log data.
• Support refurbishment work, including data wiping and basic repairs.
• Dismantle IT equipment for recycling or reuse and pack orders.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our operations team, you’ll play a vital part in the full lifecycle of our IT recycling process:

Collections & Delivery

• Carry out safe, professional, and efficient multi-drop IT recycling collections.
• Load and unload vehicles, palletise collections, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Converge UK out on the road.

Warehouse & Processing Work

• Check, record, weigh, and count incoming assets and materials.
• Use our computer systems to log asset information.
• Support refurbishment work, including data wiping and basic repairs.
• Dismantle IT equipment for recycling or re-use.
• Pick and pack orders for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace.

Quality & Standards

• Follow internal management systems, health & safety procedures, and sustainability practices.
• Ensure products meet required quality assurance and testing standards.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean working practices.
