Job summary

Enviro-clean in Scotland seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across freshwater, wastewater, and utility projects. You will optimize resource use, drive safety compliance, and coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with track record in multi-project environments and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within freshwater, wastewater, utilities, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
• Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership, organisational, planning, and communication skills.
• Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within demanding operational environments.
• Full UK driving licence (or equivalent if outside the UK).
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational teams on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate and oversee project delivery across freshwater, wastewater, and utility works.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Manage budgets, schedules, resources, and workforce allocation across multiple projects.
• Prepare and review project reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Monitor performance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and support staff development and training.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with technical specifications, industry standards, and environmental requirements.
• Support operational planning to maximise efficiency and service delivery.
