Job summary

Service Care Solutions is acting on behalf of a leading housing provider in the North East to appoint an experienced Operations Team Manager for Responsive Repairs. You will lead a team of around 12 trades operatives delivering responsive repairs, with a focus on Damp & Mould, Pest Control and Heating, and support the rollout of Phase 2 of Awaab's Law.

The role requires strong management within housing maintenance, KPI/SLAs oversight, and a proactive approach to health, safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Strong background in Responsive Repairs / Housing Maintenance
• Experience managing a team of repairs operatives
• Knowledge of social housing repairs and maintenance
• Understanding of Awaab's Law, HHSRS and housing legislation
• UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Managing and supporting a team of around 12 repairs/trades operatives
• Overseeing the delivery of Responsive Repairs across the North East
• Monitoring KPIs, SLAs, quality, cost and customer satisfaction
• Managing performance and providing coaching and support to your team
• Overseeing repairs relating to Damp & Mould, Pest Control and Heating
• Supporting the delivery and implementation of Awaab's Law requirements
• Managing contractor performance and ensuring value for money
• Dealing with customer queries, complaints and escalated repairs
• Providing operational support during major incidents and emergency situations
• Ensuring all repairs are delivered in line with health & safety, regulatory and organisational requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve the Responsive Repairs service
