Job summary

EMED Group is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operational delivery in our Surrey-based team, focusing on performance and clinical quality of front-line patient transport services. You will provide inspired leadership, guide the team, and improve performance through strategic decision making.

The role requires two years plus in frontline management, strong KPI focus, and experience in building both short and long-term strategies.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in front-line management with demonstrable improvements.
• KPI driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Experience building and implementing short and long-term strategies.
• Proactive with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Experience with data analysis to improve operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service while maximising revenue opportunities and protecting P&L.
• Manage and embed KPIs to support day-to-day service delivery.
• Develop strong relationships with Clinical Commissioning Groups, Acute Hospital Trusts, Community Health, Mental Health Partnerships, and Primary Care.
• Monitor Governance and Quality requirements ensuring compliance with national standards.
• Maximise revenue, cost and margin performance in collaboration with Head of Service Delivery.
• Manage employees in line with HR policies and ensure wellbeing and development.
