Wolseley Group is recruiting an Operations Manager (Nights) for the Darlington distribution centre. You will be responsible for health and safety, warehouse planning and people management while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a full-time, permanent position on night shifts, offering a supportive team and opportunities to develop leadership skills. The role requires prior Operations Management experience and excellent communication; a strong focus on mentoring and

• Previous Operations Management experience in related industries is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent people management skills with a mentoring leadership style.
• Excellent systems skills including Warehouse Management Systems and the full MS Office suite.

As an Operations Manager based in Darlington you’ll be responsible for:

• The general health and safety of the Fulfilment Centre .
• Warehouse Management and Planning.
• People Management and mentoring.
• Internal and external stakeholder management.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on night shifts.

• Previous relevant Operations Management experience in related industries would be mandatory for this role
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Excellent people management skills where mentoring and leading by example are key elements of your approach
