Job summary

Meriton Associates Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for its Building Division on the South Coast. You will oversee multiple live projects and directly manage a team of three Contracts Managers to ensure safe, profitable delivery and high-quality outcomes.

You will report to the senior leadership team, driving operational performance, providing strategic direction, and supporting project teams to meet programme, quality and commercial targets across a secure project pipeline.

• Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within a main contracting environment.
• Strong track record of delivering construction projects across sectors.
• Experience managing Contracts Managers and multi-project teams.
• Commercial awareness with solid project controls and profitability understanding.

Meriton is delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing main contractor to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for its Building Division.

This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for overseeing multiple live projects and directly managing a team of three Contracts Managers, ensuring the safe, profitable and efficient delivery of a diverse portfolio of construction projects.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in driving operational performance across the business. You will provide strategic direction, support project teams, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, programme adherence, customer satisfaction and commercial performance.
