Job summary

Stem Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a precision manufacturing site in Musselburgh, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, delivery commitments and safety requirements are consistently met, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You will lead, develop and manage production teams, oversee capacity planning, labour allocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality systems.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related methodologies.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, production planning and lean manufacturing tools
• Proven track record in driving operational excellence and process improvement
