Job summary

GPS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and optimise all manufacturing operations at the Halifax site. You will oversee daily factory activities, production planning, quality, maintenance and CI initiatives to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.

The role requires proven leadership in manufacturing, strong lean experience, and the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment. A salary circa 60–70K plus bonus is offered.

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of production processes, Lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing teams in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organisational skills.
• Strong technical acumen and familiarity with manufacturing systems (ERP/MRP).

Location: Halifax
Working Hours: 08.30 - 17.00 Mon-Thursday & 08.30 - 14.30 Friday
