Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead other managers and create the operational plan that helps teams meet targets across our sites. The role focuses on driving operational excellence to deliver for customers.

You will oversee safety and wellbeing, quality and productivity, and work with senior colleagues to standardise shift practices while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives across teams.
  • Experience in employee and performance management.

It's driven by Operations Managers who bring the team together to push excellence in safety, quality and productivity across our sites. At your site, you'll lead other managers and create the operational plan that helps your teams meet their targets. This role is all about driving operational excellence to create the Amazon of tomorrow.

Key job responsibilities
  • Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing
  • Analyse and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high level
  • Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility
  • Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence
  • Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
  • Experience in employee and performance management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in engineering teams management in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays in a 24/7/365 environment
