BMS Engineering Recruitment represents an established cmdistribution business seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take full responsibility for the Harlow operation. The role covers the complete day-to-day operation, including warehouse, transport, facilities, health & safety, financial performance and people leadership.

Qualifications

• Senior operational leadership experience with P&L responsibility.

Our client is an established cmdistribution business supplying a diverse customer base across the UK.

The business has developed a strong reputation for service, operational excellence and long-term customer relationships, supported by a network of distribution sites across the country.

Following an internal promotion, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to take full responsibility for their Harlow operation.

Role Overview: Operations Manager

This is a senior site leadership position offering significant autonomy and full P&L responsibility.

You’ll take ownership of the complete day-to-day operation, including warehouse and transport, facilities, health & safety, financial performance and people leadership.

This is much broader than a traditional Warehouse Manager position. You’ll be expected to understand the commercial performance of the site, anticipate operational challenges, improve processes and develop plans to support future growth.

The role would suit an experienced Operations Manager, General Manager or Site Manager from a distribution, logistics, supply chain or 3PL environment.
