Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee a multi million pound contract focused solely on repairs and voids across South West London/Surrey. This role involves managing a well established team, ensuring smooth operations, and driving efficiency across the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the delivery of repairs and voids contracts across South West and Surrey with a large patch in KT/TW post code areas.
2. Lead and support the Contract Management team, ensuring clear communication and effective delegation.
3. Manage a structured team including a Contracts Manager, Repairs Manager, and four Supervisors.
4. Work closely with a 10-member Scheduling Team to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
5. Focus on delivering Reactive maintenance, while also contributing to the development of a South Coast hub.
6. Support expansion efforts further into Surrey and Hampshire including: Crawley, Portsmouth, Worthing, and surrounding areas.
7. Drive strategic growth across London, identifying new opportunities and improving service delivery.
8. Ensure contractual compliance, high service standards, and cost-effective operations.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in operations management within a Tier 1 Maintenance Contractor.
2. Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
3. Excellent understanding of repairs and voids management.
4. Strategic mindset with a focus on expansion and operational efficiency.
5. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
6. Full UK driving license (company car provided).
