Mana Resourcing Ltd is seeking an Operations Manager for a Northamptonshire-based manufacturing business. The role covers day-to-day operations across production, planning, purchasing, warehouse, facilities, health and safety, and continuous improvement, requiring strong leadership and a track record of managing multiple departments.

You will lead a team of supervisors, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Operations/Production/Manufacturing Manager role.
• Automotive background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and supply chain processes.
• Experience managing multiple departments and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production and manufacturing activities to meet schedules.
• Plan and schedule production with manufacturing and suppliers.
• Lead purchasing and supply chain activities to ensure timely material flow.
• Manage warehouse operations and inventory controls.
• Oversee facilities maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Ensure Health, Safety & Compliance across the site.
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and cost reductions.
• Provide leadership and people management across teams and shifts.

The Company

Our client is an independent company who have carved themselves a niche supplying/designing powertrain components (exhausts, and other specialist Automotive components) to OE Automotive customers. The Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing business. This is an all encompassing genuine Operations Manager position - As such you will have Key Responsibilities for:

The Candidate
