Job summary

The Collective Network Limited in East Midlands is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a large production operation within a well-established food manufacturer. You'll influence site performance, develop the management team and drive continuous improvement on safety, quality, service, cost and people.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage multiple production departments, plan labour, monitor productivity and costs, and ensure readiness for audits.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Experience improving KPIs, productivity, quality and operational performance.
• Proven track record of managing large teams across multiple layers of management.
• Hands-on leader who is visible on the factory floor.
• Strong ability to develop people and succession plans.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a team of Senior Production Managers and Production Managers.
• Driving operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost and efficiency.
• Managing labour planning, productivity, yields and operational costs.
• Embedding a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Working closely with Engineering, Technical, Planning and Supply Chain to deliver business objectives.
• Leading operational readiness for customer and external audits.
• Developing people, succession plans and future leaders across the operation.

Are you an Operations Manager who enjoys making a difference rather than simply maintaining the status quo?

I'm working with a well-established food manufacturer looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to lead a large production operation. This is a genuine opportunity to influence site performance, develop an established management team and play a key role in driving continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll be responsible for leading multiple production departments, ensuring the site delivers against safety, quality, service, cost and people objectives.

What you'll be doing
