My client are currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their growing business. They are looking for someone to head up a number of newly won contracts within the North East region.
Within this position you will be responsible for managing the delivery of SHDF & Planned Maintenance schemes across the North East Of England. Projects that are being delivered will be across low & high rise tower blocks and scattered properties for a large housing association clients.
Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met. You would also be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting. Implement strong H&S across all projects. Your direct team will include contract managers, site management, supervisors, RLO's and subcontractors. You will report directly in to the Operations Director who will support you in making the contracts successful.
The ideal candidate will have extensive building knowledge and experience managing planned maintenance and retrofit contracts. Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and an ability to problem solve in complex situations. A Strong knowledge around BSR and the building safety act as well as strong IT skills are essential and you must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word.
Having an ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract, as well as being able to build strong relationships with the client and your team members.
A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required.
