The Bedford Hotel Belfast is seeking an experienced and passionate Operations Manager to join its exceptional opening team. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of Belfast's most anticipated luxury hotel openings.

Opening in late 2025, The Bedford Hotel will be a prestigious boutique hotel in the heart of Belfast, set within the iconic Scottish Mutual Building. With 82 luxury bedrooms, a destination restaurant, cafe bar and private dining rooms, we are setting new standards for hospitality in Northern Ireland.

The Bedford Hotel, operated by Focus Hotels Management, seeks a skilled and driven Operations Office Manager who thrives in a luxury hospitality setting. You are a natural leader with a passion for service excellence and an unwavering commitment to creating unforgettable guest experiences. Your proactive approach, eye for detail, and ability to inspire those around you make you the perfect fit for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the activities of the culinary and front office departments to ensure unified operations and consistent guest experience
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the hotel's objectives enhancing efficiency and service quality
  • Oversee departmental budgets ensuring cost effective operations without compromising quality
  • Uphold high standards of guest service across all supervised departments addressing and resolving any issues promptly
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and high morale
  • Ensure all operations comply with health and safety and hospitality luxury standards
  • Develop and implement contingency plan for emergencies ensuring staff are trained to handle various situations effectively
