Manufacturing Operations Manager

Aylesbury

£75,000-£80,000 + Lean Manufacturing Projects + CNC & Automation + Direct Founder Access + Career Development + Monday-Friday

Are you a Manufacturing Operations Manager, Production Manager or Operations Manager with strong lean manufacturing experience, looking for the autonomy to transform and develop the operations of a growing precision manufacturing business?

On offer is the opportunity to take ownership of operations within an ambitious, technology-led manufacturer investing in CNC machinery, automation, AI and innovative production methods. You'll work directly with the founders and join a young, driven team where you'll have genuine freedom to improve processes, develop people and help build a world-class manufacturing operation.

In this role, you'll lead the day-to-day manufacturing operation, taking responsibility for people, processes, quality, scheduling, capacity and Health & Safety. A major focus will be identifying inefficiencies, implementing lean manufacturing principles and building robust processes that improve productivity, quality and on-time delivery.

This role would suit an experienced manufacturing leader with a proven track record of implementing lean production improvements, ideally within CNC, precision manufacturing or a similar engineering environment. You'll be a supportive but direct leader who sets high standards, develops people and continuously challenges how things can be done better.
