Role Overview

The Operations & Logistics Executive will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations of our diamond wholesale business. This includes overseeing inventory management, coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimising operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfilment:Prepare and dispatch client orders daily in collaboration with the sales team, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Diamond Selection:Be responsible for choosing diamonds based on their cut, colour, clarity, measurements, and other specifications to meet client requirements.
  • Inventory Management:Organize new stock by conducting stock checks, labelling, and categorizing diamonds into their specific boxes. Manage and monitor inventory levels, conducting regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Returns Processing:Handle returns from clients and process returns to local and international suppliers efficiently.
  • Logistics Coordination:Organise international shipments via carriers such as FedEx or Malta-Amit, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and timely delivery.
  • Administrative Support:Complete administrative tasks related to logistics and inventory management, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity and safety of products during storage and transit.

Skills & Experience

  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Experience with Luxury Goods:Previous experience working with luxury goods, preferably within the diamond or jewellery industry.
  • Administrative Skills:Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Organizational Skills:Highly organised with the ability to handle and manage inventory in a systematic and efficient manner.
  • Multitasking:Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork:Ability to use own initiative and work closely with the team to achieve operational goals.
