Are you an undergraduate student looking for an industrial placement this year? Maybe you're studying Business/International Management, Business Studies, Data & Analytics or even Economics? If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you... We are seeking a data-obsessed & pro-active individual who wants to be our next Operations & Logistics Analyst Intern at Sony Europe! This role is made for a student with a passion and natural interest for data, business operations and process analysis & improvement. The purpose of this role is to support our Operations & Logistics team by producing various reports and dashboards, providing visibility of key performance indicators of Sony's Logistics Operations, and driving continuous improvement activities (Kaizen). Becoming part of a larger platform, you will participate in the execution of defined sales operations & logistics procedures and processes too. You will be given the opportunity to not only expand your knowledge and gain valuable transferable skills but also to get an exciting insight into Sony's marketing department and to see where your career could take you.
Throughout the recruitment process until your start date, you'll have regular connections with our HR & Sony Placement Year programme team, as well as our current interns to answer any questions and provide guidance and further information on your Sony journey. This will also allow you to connect with the other future interns who will form the 2027 Sony cohort and start building your network. If you will need to relocate, this is also a great opportunity to find others in the same situation.
We will make you a part of a large and diverse placement student network which will allow you to foster friendships and to build lifelong connections with like-minded students. We are passionate about your personal development and to help you get the most out of your Placement Year, there will be a number of Training Modules and a range of Learning & Development programs available to help you learn, grow and lay the building blockers for your career. We are a positive community who dream big together, respect each other, and enjoy a collaborative culture across Europe in all our modern and inspiring workspaces. We believe in a sustainable and engaged workforce and support work-life balance with working policies to encourage our students to achieve a healthy balance between success at work and personal commitments. Our flexible working policy allows employees to work from 8 days per month, where employees are expected in the office 3 days per week. We provide access to numerous wellbeing services and platforms to promote all aspects of health, including employee assistance programs and DE&I initiatives. We respect our people and listen to them through ongoing conversations and surveys. We value suggestions for improvements, and act to promote a better placement experience for everyone.
Based at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a vibrant and friendly working environment. We have an onsite canteen with a wide range of options available, and a barista style coffee shop. There is a well-provisioned onsite gym run by our own Sony Wellbeing Coordinator, with classes on set days in the mornings, at lunch and after work hours. We have a staff car park which includes electric charging points, an undercover and secure bike rack, or if you will use public transport, we have a shuttle bus service that regularly runs between train station and the office at peak times.
