Sony Europe is offering an industrial placement in Weybridge for an undergraduate student focused on Sales & Marketing Operations analytics. You will work with pricing, P&L, forecasting and budgeting to drive European business performance and gain insight into Sony’s marketing department.

The start date is 5 July 2027 and relocation may be required. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Forecast monthly sales plan on your category and guide the team and countries to achieve it.
• Develop and agree on product strategies and action plans to achieve KPIs in net sales, margin and inventory forecasting.
• Analyze data sources to define ranging, rotation, and sell-through in your category.
• Monitor performance and optimize supply chain planning to ensure availability and manage inventory risk.
• Follow up daily sales development against the plan.
• Monitor market trends to identify risks and opportunities.

We are seeking a data-obsessed & pro-active individual who wants to be our next Sales & Marketing Operations Analyst at Sony Europe! This role is made for a student with a passion and natural interest for data, problem solving, growth and business management.

From pricing and P&L, to forecasting and budgeting, your analysis and recommendations will ultimately increase our European business performance. You Will

• Forecast monthly sales plan on your category and guide the team and countries to achieve it.

• Analyse numerous data sources to define the ranging, rotation, and sell-through in your category
• Monitor performance and optimize supply chain planning to secure availability and manage inventory risk
• Follow up daily sales development against them
• Monitor market trends to seek risk and opportunities

You Will Bring

• Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Excel – Pivot tables, Lookups; SharePoint; Power BI).

Our Recruitment Process

Based at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a vibrant and friendly working environment. We have an onsite canteen with a wide range of options available, and a barista style coffee shop. There is a well-provisioned onsite gym run by our own Sony Wellbeing Coordinator, with classes on set days in the mornings, at lunch and after work hours. We have a staff car park which includes electric charging points, an undercover and secure bike rack (useful if you’ve made the most of the Cycle-to-Work scheme), or if you will use public transport, we have a shuttle bus service that regularly runs between train station and the office at peak times.

We currently require our Weybridge based employees to work on site a minimum 3-days per full working week.
