Job summary

Elis UK Limited in Wednesbury is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead production operations, drive continuous improvement and develop the site team to deliver safety, quality and service.

You will shape operational performance, manage budgets and collaborate with engineering, logistics and service teams to achieve cost efficiency and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on, fast-paced leadership role requiring a proactive, people-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within production, manufacturing or service operations.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and resource planning.
• Track record of delivering continuous improvement and measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production operations to achieve safe, high-quality and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement Elis Production Essentials.
• Inspire and develop management teams, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Champion health and safety and manage operational budgets and resource planning.
• Collaborate across engineering, logistics, service and textile teams to meet client expectations.
• Support strategic planning, investment proposals and site improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze trends and take corrective actions to optimise performance.
• Promote sustainability and energy efficiency across site operations.
