Job summary
DPD UK is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the smooth running of our Havant depot, driving service excellence and cost control. You will lead a high-performing team, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and deliver against KPI targets while planning and reporting on performance.
The role requires extensive logistics or warehouse experience, strong data-driven decision making, and the ability to influence across functions.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in logistics, warehouse or distribution industries.
- Ability to run a fast paced operation and motivate high performing teams.
- Experience monitoring performance and implementing data-driven improvements.
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to influence strategy.
- Demonstrate DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Caring and Accountability.
- Depots operate 365 days a year; candidate may cover any 5 shifts, including weekends.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment, development and retention of staff with compliance and Employee Relations oversight.
- Managing P&L through planning and reporting.
- Improving overall support to the operation with innovative ways of working.
