Job summary

DPD UK is currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics Shift Manager to join our high performing Logistics Solutions Management team. You’ll work in our Southampton warehouse, overseeing a small team to deliver the day to day pick and pack operations, driving KPI performance and ensuring efficiency under pressure.

You will follow policies, promote safety and quality, and contribute to cost control and service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics operation with proven people management.
• Strong communication skills to inspire and manage a team.
• Decisive and effective decision-making, time management.
• Resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.
• Excellent computer skills with Google Chrome applications.
• Ability to produce comprehensive reporting and data analysis.
• Vigilant against unscrupulous activity and swift action when required.

• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team to deliver day-to-day warehouse pick and pack operations.
• Oversee KPI performance for productivity, costs to plan and process accuracy.
• Follow HR, Health & Safety, Quality and Housekeeping policies; ensure training requirements are met.
