Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Operations Manager for its BlueBear Business in Bedfordshire. You will provide governance, compliance, trials and business coordination support across the organisation, driving continuous improvement and aligning with Saab UK goals.

You will develop KPIs, manage audits, export control, health & safety and security, and lead risk and business continuity activities while coordinating internal and external stakeholders and training where needed.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills capable of driving change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Experience implementing change and managing risk.
• ISO 9001 quality management experience.
• ISO 27001 desirable.
• UK export control and health & safety awareness desirable.
• National Security Vetting SC level is required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance, compliance, trials and business coordination support across the organisation.
• Drive continuous improvement and performance tracking, capturing customer feedback to improve BlueBear operations and integration with Saab UK.
• Develop and track KPIs to support the Strategic Business Plan.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activity and lead risk and opportunity management.
• Coordinate export control compliance and resources; support implementation of new standards and tools.
• Deliver internal training on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Champion information management within BlueBear and support internal projects as needed.
