Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership for autism and adult social care services across the North West. You will sit on the Executive Team and oversee service quality, regulatory compliance and safeguarding while guiding financial performance and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience within autism services, learning disabilities or adult social care.
• Experience leading multiple services or a large, geographically dispersed portfolio.
• Strong understanding of autism, person-centred care, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
• Track record in strategic planning, service transformation and organisational development.
• Strong financial management, budget control and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight across a portfolio of autism and adult social care services.
• Lead development and delivery of the organisation's operational strategy to meet long-term objectives.
• Take executive responsibility for service quality, performance, regulatory compliance and safeguarding.
• Oversee financial performance, budgets and resource allocation to ensure services remain financially sustainable.
• Drive service transformation and continuous improvement with person-centred support.
• Lead and develop senior management teams and promote accountability and workforce excellence.
• Engage with commissioners and regulators to support service development and outcomes.
