Job summary

Acqhired is seeking a Managing Director for ADHD & Autism Assessment Services to provide strategic and operational leadership across the UK. You will drive growth, clinical excellence and regulatory compliance while delivering outstanding outcomes for children, young people and adults.

In this hybrid national role, you will work closely with the Board to steer commercial and clinical strategy, oversee multiple locations and partner with NHS commissioners, local authorities and private providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the organisation's strategic vision and business plan.
• Lead growth through NHS, Local Authority and private sector partnerships.
• Identify new markets and expansion opportunities.
• Build and lead an executive leadership team.
• Promote innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Represent the organisation at national conferences and to key stakeholders.
• Oversee all assessment services across locations and remote delivery.
• Ensure services are safe, efficient and clinically effective.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and drive capacity planning.
• Improve patient pathways and reduce waiting times.
• Ensure high-quality customer and patient experience.
• Maintain the highest clinical standards with the Clinical Director.
• Ensure compliance with CQC, NICE guidelines, GDPR and safeguarding.
• Oversee quality assurance, audits, risk management and governance.
• Develop relationships with NHS Trusts, ICBs, Local Authorities, schools, insurers and employers.
• Lead tender submissions, contract negotiations and strategic partnerships.
• Manage financial performance with budgets and long-term plans; report to the Board.
• Provide leadership for multidisciplinary teams including clinical psychologists, SLTs, OTs, ADHD and Autism specialists, nurse assessors, admins and managers.
• Recruitment and retention; workforce planning; performance management; equality, diversity and inclusion.
