Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an Assistant Directorate Manager in the Medicine Directorate. You will work closely with clinical, nursing and corporate teams to deliver safe, effective services and drive service transformation.

The role focuses on operational management across inpatient and outpatient services, with emphasis on performance delivery, governance and workforce coordination. A strong NHS background is essential.

Qualifications

NHS operational management experience.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to analyse complex information and manage competing priorities.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of high-quality services through operational management and service transformation.
Ensure inpatient and outpatient services meet national and local performance standards.
Lead workforce coordination, governance and programme delivery.
Manage defined workstreams and projects and deputise for senior managers as required.
Drive service improvements and optimise patient pathways within the Medicine Directorate.
