Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Assistant Directorate Manager to join the Medicine Directorate. The role supports operational leadership for inpatient and outpatient services, driving performance improvement, workforce coordination, governance and service transformation.

You will work with clinical, nursing and corporate colleagues, analyse complex information, manage competing priorities and use IT tools including Excel to deliver high-quality services

Qualifications

• Experience of NHS operational management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to analyse complex information and manage competing priorities.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and project management support across the Medicine Directorate.
• Support delivery of national and local performance standards and governance processes.
• Lead on service transformation and improvement programmes.
• Coordinate workforce and governance activities with clinical, nursing and corporate colleagues.
