Job summary

ACS Executive in Worthing seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a specialist food-production site with a hands-on, shop-floor focus. You will work with production, roasting, procurement and inventory teams to identify operational risks, solve recurring problems and introduce practical improvements.

You will own health and safety across the site, maintain SOPs and ensure audit-ready compliance with HACCP, GMP and BRCGS.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/production operations.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification with health and safety practice.
• Experience creating, reviewing and implementing site SOPs.
• Proven track record of continuous improvements and addressing equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, reliable operation of a specialist food-production site on a hands-on basis.
• Collaborate with production, roasting, procurement and inventory teams to identify risks and implement practical improvements on the shop floor.
• Own health and safety across the site, maintain the SOP framework and ensure audit-ready procedures (HACCP, GMP, BRCGS).
• Coordinate maintenance, oversee external contractors and supervise the Operations Coordinator.
