Job description

ROLE: Operations Lead

HOURS: 08:30-17:00, Monday - Friday. Permanent Role.

SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000, dependent on skills and experience.

BONUS: Up to 20% on target Annual Bonus.

BASE: Penny Emma Way site, Sutton in Ashfield.

We are currently recruiting for a Conservatory Roofs Manager to join our team. This role involves managing the Conservatory Roof Office and Technical department, providing technical advice, engineer support, quotations, and order processing for both external fabricators and our internal trade branch network.

Responsibilities of Our Conservatory Roofs Managers

• Ensure quotations and orders are processed accurately and promptly against KPI targets.
• Provide accurate, timely, and technically correct quotations.
• Lead and manage the department to meet service levels for internal and external customers.
• Negotiate with customers to resolve discrepancies regarding discounts and refunds.
• Manage and offer cost-effective roofing solutions prior to fabrication.
• Report departmental KPIs monthly, monitor, and coach team performance.
• Assist with new product introductions and upgrades.
• Build strong relationships with Trade Branch and Profile customers to improve quote conversions and customer satisfaction.

Requirements for Our Conservatory Roofs Managers

• Recognised qualification in Building Studies (HND/ONC) - desirable.
• Previous experience in the building product industry.
• Understanding of the sales process and commercial awareness.
• Good knowledge of extrusion and fabrication processes.
• Experience in managing and developing a team.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
