Job summary

Talent Link in Birmingham is seeking an experienced HR Trainer to develop and implement a structured people management training framework aligned with our values and operational needs across sites. You will coach line managers on performance and absence management, employee relations, and difficult conversations, embedding consistent management behaviours and standards.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification required.
• Management or coaching qualification required.
• Proven experience in a senior HR operational role.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
• Experience operating in a multi-site or operational environment.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge appropriately.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable: experience in an operational or project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a structured people management training framework aligned with company values and operational needs
• Identify capability gaps in line management across the business
• Design and deliver training on performance management, absence management, and employee relations
• Coach managers on handling sensitive ER cases, difficult conversations, and conflict resolution
• Embed consistent management behaviours, competencies, and standards across the business
• Deliver practical, scenario-based training relevant to an operational environment
• Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across multiple sites
• Act as a trusted operational advisor balancing business needs with people risk
