Job summary

Oxford Quantum Circuits is hiring a Finance Manager - Operations to own month-end close, treasury, payroll and VAT across multiple entities. You will strengthen controls, drive process improvements and support international growth, partnering with the Group FC, FP&A and People teams.

This hands-on role requires a proactive mindset, strong accounting qualifications and demonstrated experience in scalable finance operations for a fast-growing business.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Extensive hands-on experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• VAT, payroll finance and statutory compliance experience.
• Strong internal controls, governance and audit-ready processes.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP finance systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Lead treasury, cashflow monitoring and payroll accounting.
• Prepare VAT and local tax returns, ensure compliance.
• Maintain robust financial controls and audit trails.
• Support international expansion with scalable finance processes.
• Collaborate with FC, FP&A, People and business teams.
• Improve finance systems and mentor junior staff.
