Role overview:

As an Operations Executive, you'll be at the heart of our delivery network, acting as the key link between our logistics partners, customers, and internal teams. From coordinating daily deliveries and tracking shipments to resolving delivery issues and supporting our account managers, your work will directly impact service performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities as an Operations Executive:

  • Monitor job allocations, delivery progress, and performance via our internal dashboard
  • Assist in coordinating with our partner depot networks to ensure on time delivery
  • Track shipments and update clients with real time information on deliveries, delays, or exceptions
  • Liaise with delivery partners regarding scheduling, missed collections, failed deliveries, and POD retrieval
  • Provide operational support to Key Account Managers, ensuring clients' SLAs are being met
  • Escalate issues promptly to the appropriate internal teams or depot contacts
  • Maintain accurate data in the CRM and dashboards
  • Upload and verify delivery documentation (PODs, delivery notes)
  • Assist in compiling delivery performance reports
  • Support in tracking KPIs such as on time delivery rates, customer complaints, and partner compliance
  • Highlight recurring issues and propose operational improvements
  • Proactively assist in resolving delivery complaints or escalations
  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback collected post-delivery
  • Work with partners to implement corrective actions for service failures

Skills & experience required to be successful as an Operations Executive:

  • Experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain operations (preferred)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Confidence in using operations systems (preferred), Microsoft and/or Google Applications, CRM platforms, and tracking tools
  • Process driven with a problem solving mindset with a customer first approach
  • Ability to remain calm and solutions focused in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of B2B or B2C delivery workflows (preferred)
