LG Project Consultancy Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Director in Manchester to lead day-to-day operations, drive profitability and oversee multi-project delivery. You will shape strategy, manage budgets, and develop teams across construction and M&E sectors.

The role requires a commercially minded leader with a track record in high-level operations, client relationships and risk management. A company car, profit share and benefits accompany the £100,000–£120,000 salary.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior operations management or director-level roles.
• Strong background in construction, M&E, building services or related contracting.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Solid commercial acumen including budget control and margins.
• Proven track record of operational improvements and business growth.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day operations and coordinate project teams and departments.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to support growth and objectives.
• Manage project delivery ensuring programmes, budgets and quality standards.
• Monitor financial performance, costs and margins to improve profitability.
• Lead and develop operational teams, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Plan resources and allocate labour across multiple projects.
• Maintain strong client, contractor and supplier relationships.
