Job summary

Teacrate, the UK's leading crate rental and packaging solutions provider, seeks an experienced Operations Director to head our national operations network. You will lead five depots, drive performance, and shape scalable processes to support ambitious growth.

This is a high-visibility role with significant impact across the business. You will join the Senior Leadership Team, develop high-performance cultures, and collaborate with Commercial and SL colleagues to deliver an outstanding end-to-end

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex multi-site operations across locations.
• Strong track record of driving operational performance and OTIF delivery.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and developing high-performance cultures.
• Senior Leadership Team experience, contributing to strategy and organizational change.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget management and P&L responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multi-site operational teams, ensuring exceptional performance, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, OTIF performance and operational excellence.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned to business growth objectives and customer expectations.
• Take ownership of transport operations, workforce planning, health & safety compliance and operational budgets.
• Work closely with Commercial and Senior Leadership colleagues to deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience and achieve strategic objectives.
