Job summary

Turner & Voce Limited in Nottingham is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join its growing manufacturing team. This hands-on role sits between factory, suppliers, office, fitters and delivery, keeping materials, production and projects moving smoothly.

You will tackle practical tasks, communicate with fitters and shop floor staff, and develop with the business toward greater responsibility in purchasing, production and operations, with opportunities for salary progression.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing, production, joinery, cabinetry, furniture, workshops, warehouses or similar (ideally with kitchens).
• Confident communication with fitters, workshop workers and retail team.
• IT literate and comfortable using basic computer systems. Full training provided on internal systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Physically able to lift and move heavy items.
• Organised and proactive.
• Practical and hands-on.
• Keen to learn and take on more responsibility.
• Experience with, or understanding of, machinery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating materials, deliveries and stock.
• Liaising with suppliers and fitting teams.
• Supporting production planning and keeping projects on track.
• Checking incoming and outgoing goods.
• Preparing and loading completed projects for delivery.
• Helping resolve day-to-day production and delivery issues.

Operations Coordinator

Location: Nottingham (NG11)

Pay: Up to £26,325 (£13.50 p/h) DOE

Working Pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours p/w, on‑site

We're working with a family‑run, growing manufacturer of kitchens and fitted interiors looking for an Operations Coordinator to join its friendly team.

This is a varied, hands‑on role sitting between the factory, suppliers, office, fitters and delivery team. You'll help keep materials, production, and projects moving smoothly, while getting involved in the practical side of the business.

This isn't a desk‑based admin role. You'll need to be comfortable getting stuck in, solving problems and turning your hand to whatever is needed. Perhaps you're a production assistant, factory assistant, or workshop assistant seeking more variety and ownership.
