Operations Associate Compliance - London

Lime is hiring an Operations Associate, Compliance to join our Operations team! In this role, you will implement best practices and lead projects that improve warehouse operations compliance and efficiency. You will partner with leads in both warehouse and field operations to address challenges from vehicle arrival at the warehouse to customer ride completion. This is a great opportunity to shape the future of mobility in London!

We seek a results-oriented, hands-on, data-driven, and entrepreneurial candidate with experience in a dynamic startup environment. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who can think both short-term and long-term, enthusiastic about building and scaling operations within a forward-thinking organization.

The successful candidate must reside within one hour of Lime’s London South Warehouse located at: 2 Stockholm Road, SE16 3LP.

What you’ll do:

  1. Hire, train, and coach Mechanics and Fleet Support staff responsible for deploying and retrieving shared electric vehicles, setting targets, and ensuring daily goals are met.
  2. Develop and maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment by establishing safety and quality standards and implementing processes to ensure a fully operational fleet.
  3. Define and monitor KPIs to measure warehouse compliance and efficiency.
  4. Create and improve processes and best practices to enhance compliance through cross-functional collaboration globally.
  5. Identify and escalate city-related challenges early.
  6. Partner with the local Government Relations team to manage legal, regulatory, and safety compliance issues.
  7. Maintain positive relationships with customers, regulators, city officials, employees, and management to proactively address concerns.

About you:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience, preferably including over 1 year in operations with a focus on warehouse compliance.
  • Experience leading teams is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to approach complex issues logically.
  • Data-centric mindset with proficiency in SQL and Google Sheets for data analysis.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks ruthlessly, and handle competing demands.
  • Proactive, responsible, and capable of working independently under tight deadlines in a diverse environment.
