Job summary

Lime is hiring an Operations Associate, Compliance to join our Operations team in London. You’ll build dashboards, analyse large datasets, and drive data‑driven decisions to strengthen compliance, efficiency and service quality across in-warehouse and field operations.

You’ll partner with Operations, Legal and Product to embed compliance into core processes, deliver actionable insights, and lead optimisation initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and cost reduction.

Lime is hiring an Operations Associate, Compliance to join our Operations team and play a key role in strengthening compliance, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across both in-warehouse and field operations. In this role, you’ll build advanced dashboards and reporting tools to give leadership real-time visibility into performance and compliance, analyse complex datasets to uncover risks and opportunities, and lead optimisation initiatives that improve utilisation, reduce costs, and enhance service quality. You’ll develop a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and operational standards, identify and mitigate key business risks, and ensure our processes consistently meet legal and safety obligations.

We’re looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The ideal candidate can balance tactical problem-solving with strategic thinking — embedding compliance into core operations, informing decision-making with actionable insights, and partnering closely with Operations. This is a warehouse-based position that requires an onsite presence during assigned business hours.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting tools to provide leadership with real-time visibility into operational performance, compliance metrics, and key business drivers.
• Analyse large, complex datasets to identify inefficiencies, uncover missed opportunities, and develop actionable insights that improve decision-making across operations.
• Lead optimisation initiatives by translating data trends into strategic recommendations, focusing on improving utilisation, reducing costs, increasing compliance and enhancing service quality.
• Continuously raise the bar for operational excellence by defining performance benchmarks, measuring progress, and implementing data-backed improvements across teams and workflows.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements, regulatory obligations, and operational standards to ensure the business operates within all necessary guidelines.
• Identify, map, and monitor key business risks, implementing data-driven controls and proactive mitigation strategies to reduce exposure and safeguard operations.
• Analyse rider behaviors, usage patterns, and market dynamics to inform placement strategies, pricing models, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Government Relations, Legal, and product teams to embed compliance and risk considerations into core processes, ensuring that business decisions are both efficient and compliant.
• Serve as a strategic partner to leadership by presenting clear, data-driven narratives that guide investment decisions, operational priorities, and long-term planning.

About You:

• 1+ years of professional work experience; plus 1+ year of experience within an Operations position with a strong understanding of compliance is required
• Experience leading teams or groups is required
• Fluent verbal and written English language skills
• Excellent problem solving skills - you can solve complex problems in a logical and structured manner
• Stakeholder management experience preferred, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, align priorities, and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational and compliance objectives
• Data driven in everything that you do - you must be very data centric and able to process and analyse data to solve problems, spot opportunities as well as performance trends.
• Experience with G-sheets is required (SQL is a big plus)
• Work well under pressure - you must be able to handle competing demands and prioritize ruthlessly
• Can-do attitude, no task is below you
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability to deliver precise and meaningful impact
• An organized individual who can work independently with tight deadlines in a multicultural environment
