Seaport Global Holdings LLC is seeking a full-time Operations Associate to join our Operations team based in London. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Please note, this is a hybrid role, working from home two days a week. We are looking for someone available to start immediately, as a key team member is transferring internally.

Responsibilities

1. Post trade operation functions such as confirming trades, ensuring all trades are matched for settlement, utilizing platforms such as CTM for bonds and equities.
2. Resolve trade-related queries from clients and counterparties.
3. Maintain static data in trade booking/settlement systems and assist the desk in booking trades.
4. Liaise with settlement agents, compliance, finance, and senior management on issues and queries.
5. Assist with ad-hoc projects, administrative tasks, and daily office operations.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in investment management, banking, or financial services.
2. Experience in a middle office function is preferred.
3. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and flexibly.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Willingness to learn and build relationships across the firm and with external stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bloomberg and trade booking systems is a plus.
