Job description

  • As an Operations Associate you sit at the centre of the day to day. You look after customers, fulfil maintenance and servicing bookings through to completion, and keep our insurance processes moving
  • The other half of the job is making the operation scale. You will find the parts of the process that only work because someone is holding them together manually, and use tooling, automation and AI to fix them properly This is a hands-on role for someone organised and detail-focused, who is comfortable holding a lot of moving parts at once and closing them out
  • Running the day to day. Handling customer queries and time-sensitive tasks across email, phone and chat, and owning them through to resolution rather than passing them on
  • Improving how we work. Spotting where AI and automation can take work off the team, and making the case for it with evidence rather than instinct
  • Supporting Product and Marketing. Bringing what you see on the front line into product decisions and feature launches. You will often be the first person to know something is not working
  • Working across the business. Acting as the link between customers and our marketing, product and engineering teams
  • Regular team socials, open and welcoming team culture
  • MacBook Pro, Apple Keyboard & Magic Mouse, 4k screen
  • Endless learning opportunities
  • Work from home opportunities
  • 25 days holiday plus all UK bank holidays
  • 1–3 years in an operations, customer or account role in a tech startup or a fast-moving blue-chip environment, where ownershipm reliability, and high agency were part of the daily routine
  • Customer first. You understand that operations exists to deliver value to customers, not to protect a process
  • Sense of urgency. You work smart and fast, and you don’t wait to be asked to solve problems
  • An adaptable communicator. You pitch your tone to the audience, whether that is a call with a garage, an email to an enterprise customer, or a briefing internally
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. You can untangle a complicated situation and reach a good outcome without needing to escalade it first
  • Allergic to friction. When you hit an inefficiency you fix it rather than working around it, and you are curious about the tools that let you do that faster
  • Comfortable in spreadsheets and quick to pick up new tools
  • Based in London and able to be in the office. This is not a remote role
  • Fluent written and spoken English - you will be dealing with customers, garages and enterprise stakeholders every day
  • The right to work in the UK. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this position
  • Nice to have:Any experience using AI tools to do real work, not just experiment with them
  • Hands-on experience with support or automation tooling (e.g. Zendesk, Intercom, Zapier, Make)
  • Exposure to automotive, fleet, insurance or logistics operations
