Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the Operations Manager at Broadstairs college. The role involves handling calls and emails, assisting with queries from learners and employers, and maintaining accurate records with relevant software.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, experienced in administration, and able to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. The role is based at Broadstairs and forms part of EKC Group’s operations team.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience in administrative or funding roles within FE or private training.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience handling calls, emails and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls, respond to emails, and route queries to the team.
  • Support with record-keeping using relevant software.
  • Assist the Operations Manager to deliver an efficient service.
  • Support learners, employers and college staff as required.

About You

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and efficient member to our team. The successful candidate will have recent experience of working in an administrative or funding related capacity for a Further Education establishment or a private training provider.

The ideal candidate will have experience of administering complex provision such as apprenticeships and will be able to evidence working effectively with competing priorities to achieve tight deadlines.
