Job summary

EKC Sheppey college is seeking an Inclusive Learning Administrator to support the department’s administrative needs. You will work with the Head of Inclusive Learning to implement smart working practices and assist with annual reviews for students with EHCPs, liaising with the local Authority.

The role requires proficient IT skills (including Excel), data collation, and experience with financial documents and invoicing. Strong communication and record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of IT including all Microsoft applications including Excel.
  • Ability to collate data quickly for reporting and planning.
  • Experience with financial documents and invoicing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Inclusive Learning department.
  • Support annual reviews for students with an Education Health Care Plan.
  • Liaise with the local Authority.
  • Maintain accurate records and minutes of meetings.

About The Role

Apply your Administration Skills to Support Inclusive Learning and Empower Student Success

As an Inclusive Learning Administrator, based at EKC Sheppey college you will need to provide effective administrative support service for the inclusive learning department. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Inclusive Learning to ensure administrative processes are informed by smart working practices so they can be the best they can be to meet the changing demands of a busy department. This will include supporting with annual reviews for students with an Educational Health Care Plan and liaising with the local Authority.

Key Details:

Salary: £26,398

Contract: Permanent

Hours per week: 22.5

Working Pattern:Wednesday 08:30-17:00. Remaining hours to be agreed with successful candidate.

About You

We are seeking to appoint somebody with a good knowledge of IT including all Microsoft applications including Excel and be able to collate data quickly when needed.

In addition, we are looking for somebody:

  • To work effectively with completing priorities to tight deadlines
  • To work effectively with IT systems to upload and prepare reports
  • Work effectively with financial documents and systems including ordering and invoicing.
  • Attention to detail and able to identify issues in documents, processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to keep accurate records (filing) and take accurate notes/minutes of meetings
  • A good knowledge of assistive technology and its application to aid communication and learning and willingness to keep up to date with developments in this field
  • Actively contribute to the College’s Safeguarding and PREVENT practice, procedures, culture and ethos
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Administration of Medication Level 2 or willingness to undertake this in role.
