This is a key part of the Mayor of London’s Growth Plan and Inclusive Talent Strategy and the priority is to play a central role in delivering the Local Skills Improvement Plan across London. The Hub’s role will be to support the Sector Talent Board and serve as a central point for employers seeking to engage in the talent system, coordinate delivery of recruitment, retention and skills projects and to coordinate strategic level talent pipeline opportunities. The aim is that an employer-driven ecosystem develops which enables employers to access the skilled workforce they need and create high quality career-pathways for Londoners in adult social care.

  • Support the “Lead” on all contract management requirements – to include building KPI reporting processes and documents and co-ordination of the contractual risk register.
  • Liaising with external stakeholders, employers and Skills for Care corporate departments and area teams to ensure that activity achieves contract milestones and problems/issues are identified and resolved.
  • Build processes and systems to support the effective and successful delivery of all Sector Hub activity.
  • Supporting the set up and preparation for delivery of contract activity including organising and setting up networks, events or meetings; analysis and review of information collected during engagement activity, data management, updating digital communications and information through to the conclusion of contract and report writing.
