Job Title: FX Operations Analyst – Corporate Division

Location: Paddington, London (5 days a week in-office)

We are currently hiring an FX Operations Analyst to join the Corporate Division of a high-growth, international financial services firm based in Paddington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented, ambitious individual looking to develop within FX operations and client money management in a fast-paced, front-to-back environment.

Role Overview

As an FX Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations related to client money, FX payments, and safeguarding processes. This position offers exposure to front-office sales teams, reconciliation processes, and compliance frameworks, while providing a foundation for career progression in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile client money in line with regulatory standards
• Execute and manage FX transactions from booking through to settlement
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times
• Liaise with the front-office team to ensure smooth execution of client activity
• Perform daily reconciliations of client accounts and identify any discrepancies
• Monitor compliance with both internal controls and external regulatory requirements
• Recommend and support the implementation of operational process improvements

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a financial services environment (FX/payments experience advantageous)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Working knowledge of client money regulations and safeguarding best practices
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work well under pressure
• Enthusiastic team player with a keen interest in FX and financial operations
• Progress toward financial certifications (e.g., CISI)
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to take on new responsibilities in a fast-moving business
