THE ROLE AND OPPORTUNITY

This role sits within the team of the CEO office. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day of the operation of the business through, among others, supporting the ongoing reporting needs and ad-hoc requirements from the CEO, the Board and other members of the Senior Management Group. The role entails a global visibility of the business across geographies and functional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic & Business Support

  • Assist the Chief of Staff in developing and executing firm-wide strategic initiatives
  • Provide data-driven insights to support investment decision-making and internal operations
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and executive summaries for senior leadership
  • Conduct market research and analysis, including competitor / industry research and analysis leveraging public and non-public sources
  • Support the oversight of the global pipeline and ensure timely and accurate capturing of the information across regions

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Act as a liaison between the Chief of Staff and other departments
  • Ensure smooth communication and coordination of initiatives across the organisation
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for JLG Board and Senior Management Group, conveying key insights, and recommendations

Project Management & Execution

  • Support the management of cross-functional projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with company priorities
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track and objectives are met
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and key deliverables to the Chief of Staff

Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (investment, asset management, finance) to help streamline operations and improve internal processes
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics to ensure alignment with business goals

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS required

  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in infrastructure investment management, management consulting, investment banking or within a Big 4 transaction team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. CFA is desirable, though not a pre-requisite
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and work independently
  • High proficiency in Excel and advanced level of PowerPoint. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver
