Working across teams and with external partners, you'll take projects from initial planning through to successful completion. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering meaningful change within a purpose-led organisation.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead projects from initiation and planning through to implementation, evaluation and closure
  • Develop clear project plans, objectives, milestones, budgets and resource requirements
  • Coordinate project teams, working groups and external suppliers to maintain progress and accountability
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes, escalating where appropriate
  • Monitor project performance against agreed timescales, budgets, outcomes and quality standards
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, contractors and other stakeholders
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops and consultations, ensuring actions are recorded and followed through
  • Prepare accurate project reports, updates and recommendations for senior stakeholders and governance groups
  • Support procurement, contract management and budget monitoring activities where required
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement across our project delivery approach
Why this is a great role
  • Make a real difference - deliver projects that improve homes, services and outcomes for our customers. We are open to sector experience
  • Work across the organisation - collaborate with colleagues from a wide range of professional teams
  • Own meaningful change - take responsibility for projects from idea to successful delivery
  • Develop your career - strengthen your project, leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Join a supportive organisation - work with people who are committed to our social purpose
What you'll get in return
  • Competitive salary and opportunities for pay progression
  • 26 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) rising to 29 days after 3 years
  • Your birthday off as an extra holiday
  • Up to 10% matched pension contribution
  • Flexible benefits including options such as Health Cash Plan or gym membership
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and wellbeing support
  • Full training and development with opportunities for career progression
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
About you

  • Excellent communication - confident working with colleagues, customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders
  • Collaborative approach - able to build effective relationships and bring people together around shared goals
  • Commercial awareness - comfortable monitoring budgets, managing resources and working with external providers
  • Problem-solving skills - able to identify challenges, assess options and make practical recommendations
  • IT literate - confident using Microsoft Office and project management or reporting systems
