Job summary

Greggs is seeking an Operational Trainer to develop our supply colleagues and ensure they meet the required standards. You will conduct regular assessments to help sustain operational excellence and deliver Manual Handling Training on site, while maintaining training records and supporting audit preparations.

You will also be responsible for creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures, contributing to a compliant and well-documented training environment.

Qualifications

• Worked in a similar environment for at least 12 months.
• Experience in training or coaching.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety standards.
• Familiar with SOPs, SWCs, SWPs and CICs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to motivate.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Supportive of an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Support development of supply colleagues to meet relevant standards.
• Carry out regular assessments to maintain operational excellence.
• Deliver Manual Handling Training and assessments.
• Maintain accurate training records.
• Prepare training data for internal and external audits.
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures.
