Job summary

Greggs plc is seeking an Operational Trainer to support development of supply colleagues, conduct training and assessments, and maintain training records. The role includes preparing data for audits and updating SOPs.

You will work in a food production environment, with potential exposure to flour and dust, and possibly in chilled/frozen areas. All training and support will be provided to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Experience in training or coaching
• Good understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety compliance standards
• Familiarity with SOPs, SWCs, SWPs, and CICs
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to motivate people
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Supportive of an inclusive culture – valuing difference is good

• Deliver Manual Handling Training and assessments
• Carry out regular assessments to maintain operational excellence
• Maintain accurate training records
• Support site with preparation of training data for audits
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures
