Job summary

Colten Care is seeking an Operational Trainer for The Warren & Spa Holiday Resort in Abersoch, North Wales. You will design, deliver and evaluate park training, driving a 5-star customer experience across the team.

The role focuses on creating training calendars, course delivery, apprenticeship leadership, and adoption of best practices in learning and development within a busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in operational training delivery, ideally with Hospitality industry with Food and Beverage training experience.
• Skilled in training content creation.
• CIPD qualification or working towards a relevant training qualification.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or e-learning design.
• Fluent in presenting and communicating to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop and ensure the delivery of the park operational training schedule / calendar to support the full employee lifecycle, through team and manager engagement in performance & development, operational, compliance & other training.
• Course creation, development, and delivery, with emphasis on operational training; select the best method of training for delegates.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of L&D best practices and embed them in learning.
• Lead the Apprenticeship Programme on park; support Academies.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and ROI; provide data for decision making.
• Communicate effectively with Park Management and senior staff about training.
• Support induction and other training as needed.
