We are recruiting for an Operational Risk Manager to join our team on a permanent basis, based out of Dublin, London, or Nottingham.

Reporting to the Head of Risk & Resilience, this role will oversee the business’s compliance within its Operational Risk and Quality Assurance Frameworks. Responsibilities include reporting on business adherence, ensuring frameworks and KPIs are in place, and monitoring and escalating risks related to process breaches identified through Quality Assurance Reports.

Essential functions include:

1. Providing oversight of operational risk in the first line to ensure risks are identified, mitigated, and within risk appetite.
2. Developing and maintaining effective operational risk management policies and procedures.
3. Supporting the development and implementation of the Quality Assurance Framework across ASL & AIU with a risk-based approach.
4. Producing high-quality reports for the Executive Management Team, Risk Committee, and Board of Directors.
5. Leading RCSAs renewal and managing ongoing risk changes.

To succeed, candidates should have an advanced understanding of operational risk within insurance or financial services, experience with QA/QC and outsourcing, and a background in governance or L&D. Strong organizational and communication skills, initiative, results orientation, and team leadership experience are essential.
