Job summary

Bank of Ireland UK is seeking a leader to strengthen the Operational Resilience framework, ensuring compliance with PRA/FCA requirements. You will oversee governance, reporting, and resilience across the UK arm, collaborating with risk and second line teams to drive improvements.

The role focuses on embedding resilience in change activity, communicating complex topics clearly, and engaging stakeholders to meet regulatory expectations. Hybrid work in Bristol or London.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying UK Operational Resilience requirements in a regulated financial services environment.
• Ability to interpret PRA/FCA requirements and translate them into practical frameworks and evidence.
• Experience across important business services, impact tolerances, mapping and scenario testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and oversight of Operational Resilience across Bank of Ireland UK.
• Collaborate with risk teams, second line, and Group Operational Resilience on regulatory developments and risk management.
• Embed resilience by design within change activity and high-risk initiatives.
• Develop communications, training and awareness to strengthen resilience knowledge.
• Manage governance forums, regulatory information requests and resilience reporting.
